Where We Are

For some Anxiety SolutionsSM services (especially our OCD Intensive Outpatient Program), clients may need to attend therapy sessions for a few days to a few weeks in a row.  That means those clients may need to find lodging in the area for themselves and/or their families.  In fact, we often will encourage clients bring their families with them:

  • so family members can participate in and learn how to help with the client's recovery and
  • so that the presence of family members can help make the living environment more home-like and promote transfer of skills back to the home environment.

Since Anxiety SolutionsSM is located in a popular rural vacation area, a wide range of accommodations is available:

Because of our rural location, area accommodations are often less expensive than something comparable in a big city.  Also, area lodging is often available with kitchens or kitchenettes making it possible to cook meals and both save money and make the experience more home-like.

Furnished Apartments - There are several property management companies in the area that include in their offerings a few furnished apartments, typically intended for short term rental.  We have arranged with one of them (Century 21 Winn Associates) to make available an apartment at a discount to Anxiety Solutions clients.  It is a two-bedroom apartment that is located next door to Anxiety Solutions' business office, making it feasible to offer clients who are staying there virtual "home visits" on a daily basis when needed. (For more information, click here.)

Vacation Rentals - Since the White Mountains is a popular recreation and tourism area, several vacation rental companies (such as Cyberrentals and Franconia Notch Vacations) offer furnished homes, condos, and townhouses for rent in the area.

B&Bs and Inns - This option lacks the home-like feature of a kitchen, but area B&Bs and Inns could add some charm and relaxation to your stay.

Hotels and Motels - Many in the area advertise rates as low as $50 per night during off-peak tourism periods.  Two examples are the Hearthside Village Cottage Motel which advertises a room with a kitchenette for as low as $50 per night and the Maple Leaf Motel which advertises a two-bedroom unit with kitchen for as low as $67 per night.  For other area hotels and motels, you might check out the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce web-site.
